The 2008 Alumni game took place on December 28th at the Hayes Gymnasium.

The event took place in front of many family, friends, and familiar faces from past and present glory days in CCHS Boys Basketball history. It was an exciting and intense game that matched 15 former Patriots against the 2008-09 Varsity team. The former Patriots overcame a 22 point half-time deficit to take the lead late in the 4th quarter only to have their hopes for a victory clipped in the final minute. Senior captain Harry Scales hit a tie breaking three point shot with less then a minute to play, and sophomore Bobby Lania iced the game at the free throw line with his brothers glaring from the lane. The final score was 121-116 in favor of the current Patriots.

It was great event that we hope will build with each year, with more and more alumni who stop by to say hello, run up and down on the old hardwood, and share some of the stories from their time wearing the Patriots jersey with others with common ties.
